Psalms 18:2-6

David speaks of the safety, strength, and deliverance he obtains from God in times of fear and sorrow. In the same way, when facing trauma or addiction, you can count on the reliable power of God to deliver you from addictive behaviors.
One important thing to consider is the character of associations you keep during addiction recovery. Don’t return to old friends who are still using substances or places that may lead you to fall into temptation. Instead, seek strength from the Bible. Daily Biblical inspiration will put you back on track.
